The University of North Texas’s Environmental Education, Science & Technology Building allowed me to borrow a preserved specimen of Orthoptera: Tettigoniidae (long-horned grasshopper) as a reference for my biological illustration, which was eventually awarded the 2013 Dean’s Excellence Award.
